In
the past, the language of unique and
ancient sculpture art is inspired to poetry and the carved picturesque villages in Vietnam countryside. Espeacially,
there are La Xuyen village (Nam Dinh province), Dong Giao village (Hai Duong
province), Huong Mac and Phu Khe villages (Bac Ninh province). However, these
traditional villages have just kept a little bit small items such as handmade seals and shapes.

Nowadays, the
fundamental changes in materials, vehicles and technical publishing and
printing have brought this ancient sculpture field a whole new life and era.
Sculpture wooden painting, which comes with aesthetic value, the concept of
art pluralism, higher connection, application of contemporary technology and
the use of raw materials, becomes a specific contemporary art. This kind of
art accepts any styles and idea flows, which has extended to the world of human
senses and appeared in many art performances. Wood carving techniques with
the use of still videos and laser bring many surprising products.
